Hujjat al–Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari stated,” the maximum participation of citizens in the upcoming presidential elections and choosing the right person will provide the ground for progress of the country and will neutralize the plots of global arrogance.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari, Iran's ambassador to the Vatican, invited the people to participate in the upcoming presidential elections.

By honoring the martyrs of service, the beloved President and Minister of Foreign Affairs and his loyal companions, we are on the verge of holding the 14th round of presidential elections in exceptional circumstances in the history of our country. It is obvious that these presidential elections, which take place during the short legal period after the martyrdom of Dr. Raisi, show the country's political and administrative maturity to manage crises.

The election, which in the Islamic Republic system is based on the two principles of democracy and the rule of the civilizing values of Islam, is a movement in line with the realization of religious democracy and the historical legacy of the founder of the Islamic Revolution and the continuous emphasis of the Supreme Leader.

Therefore, the impressive participation of the people of the nation, especially the elites of the society, at the ballot boxes on June 28, is not only a political and social duty, but also a religious and national duty that can create valuable results for the country. It will definitely cause the hope and confidence of those interested in the system and crate despair for the sworn enemies of the great nation of Islamic Iran.

It goes without saying that the maximum participation in these elections, and the selection of the right candidate, will provide the basis for the progress and development of the country and will neutralize the plots of Global Arrogance and their conspiracies.

Mohammad Hussein Mokhtari

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Vatican
