The senior scholar further expressed his gratitude for Dr. Zakani’s valuable efforts in different periods of his responsibility and added,” Every residential place needs three things; A religious and pious jurist who is in charge of the cultural, religious, and political aspects of the society, secondly a trustworthy and insightful doctor who takes care of people's lives and health conditions, and thirdly a benevolent leader and guardian who takes care of people's various affairs and solves their problems.”

Referring to his records, this Shia source of emulation emphasized serving the people and solving their problems as a top priority for Iranian officials.

Iran will hold presidential elections on June 28, following the martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage in a helicopter crash in May.

The election’s winner will replace Ebrahim Raisi, who embraced martyrdom during a helicopter crash in Iran’s northwestern mountainous region on May 19.
