Hawzah News Agency- The custodian of Shrine of Hazrat Zainab Kubra (PBUH) Deeb Karim has emphasized that the shrine is open and positive meetings have been held with the "new Syrian government".

In an interview Karim said,” The shrine is open and the staff, management and servants are present and are busy repairing some infrastructure such as electricity and water that has been destroyed.”

He noted,” The saboteurs who entered the shrine have no connection with the new Syrian government.”

The Custodian of the Shrine of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH), noting that meetings were held with the new Syrian government and were positive and fruitful, expressed hope that security, peace and the movement of pilgrims will return to their previous state.

Expressing optimism about the situation in the Sayyidah Zainab (PBUH) region, Karim emphasized that it will improve in the coming days.
