Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri, in a meeting with the head of Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation held at the office of Qom Seminary Teachers’ Society, stated that the Relief Committee embodies the social dimension of Islam and stated,” In various Quranic verses and narrations, dealing with the issues of people, society and the needy, untangling the work of creation and solving the problems of the poor have been strongly emphasized.”

Referring to some misconceptions about the operation of the relief committee, he said,” The relief committee's information should go further; One of the dimensions of Jihad of explanation is that the functions of the holy system of the Islamic Republic are correctly elaborated for the people.”

Friday Prayer Imam of Qom emphasized the need to spread information about the activities of the relief committee in different formats and added, “there are influential figures in Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation who can properly explain the activities of the relief committee in the society.”

Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri appreciated the excellent service of the relief committee to the needy and said,” The relief committee has remained on the path of Late Imam Khomeini (RA) and has helped the deprived sections of the society a lot.”
