Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al- Islam Sayyed Abolhassan Nawab, Chancellor of the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom, said at the opening ceremony of the university on Friday, October 21,” University of Religions was a research institute in the beginning. When it was decided that this institution will become a university, some scholars said that if this institution becomes a university, its research work will fade. Today, I want to tell all these scholars and professors that since its establishment, University of Religions and Denominations has emphasized on scientific research in addition to the educational issues and education of students in various fields of religions.”

He continued by saying that University of Religions and Denominations has published more than 500 book titles. This university currently has 10 active scientific research journals, and an ISI journal in English is published in this university, which is one of the few journals in Iran that is indexed on the Scopus website. Two other publications in English are also going through different steps to be indexed in this prestigious research site.”

He concluded his remarks by saying,” Our main concern at the University of Religions and Denominations is to deepen scientific research and also to expand it. Every year, several reliable and scientific books are published in this university.”
