Hungarian minister plenipotentiary for Religious Affairs Rev. Prof Seromi Sapolj and his accompanying delegation were honored to visit the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine on Tuesday evening, and were received by the director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine; Dr. Afdhal al-Shami.

Hawzah News Agency- Dr. AfDhal al-Shami said that " the delegation's visit today to the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine aims to bring closer the views between religions and continue to talk about various humanitarian issues and their importance in spreading the concepts of peaceful coexistence between societies in Iraq and the region ".

He pointed out "the role of the Religious Authority in maintaining the land of Iraq through the fatwa of sufficient duty of defense, stressing that the hussayni processions are the ones that sustained the momentum of the battle and supported the fighters and the displaced throughout the previous years".

Humanitarian Practices Done During Arbaeen Pilgrimage Days Is Impressive

"The visiting guest and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the most important achievements of the holy shrine and its projects during the previous years, especially in the humanitarian and service aspects," he added.

For his part, Minister Seromi Sapolj said that "watching the humanitarian practices of the Iraqi people during the days of the blessed Ziyarat Arba'een is impressive, indicating that these humanitarian practices are a great thing that the material world is currently missing, pointing out that my feelings are overwhelming and I cannot explain them and if I talk more, my tears will come down".

"My presence today in this holy place made me feel very happy and I see these crowds of people practicing these rituals amid an atmosphere of faith and holiness among all participants," he explained.
