The shrine's courtyards were adorned with festive decorations, while special Eid programs, including the recitation of Ziyarat Aminullah and farewell prayers for Ramadan, began in the evening at Imam Khomeini Portico. The programs featured lectures and eulogies by prominent reciters.
Mojtaba Haqtalab, head of the shrine’s Illumination Department, highlighted the decorations and light displays enhancing the sacred atmosphere of the site.
The courtyards and porticos were illuminated with over 40,000 string lights, adding a glow that captivated worshippers and pilgrims.
Additionally, symbolic banners were installed in key areas such as Azadi and Enghelab courtyards to mark the festivities and the simultaneous commemoration of Republic Day on April 1.
Flower arrangements further enhanced the shrine's beauty, with over 30,000 flower bushes arranged across the shrine's courtyards.
According to Mohammad Shaban, Deputy for Pilgrims’ Services, “Around 200,000 flower stems were used, donated by generous contributors. Eleven new floral installations were set up in prominent locations, including Prophet Mohammad Courtyard, Bab al-Salam, and Sheikh Tusi Gate. Unique displays combining flowers, water, and light created mesmerizing visuals, featuring names and titles of Imam Reza intricately woven into the designs”.
These efforts aimed to provide a spiritual and celebratory experience for the faithful. The dazzling displays of light, flowers, and Eid rituals underscored the shrine’s dedication to enhancing the spiritual connection of its pilgrims and visitors.
