Hawzah News Agency- The representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for refugees in Iraq; Joe Nicholas, praised the projects of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to support vulnerable groups in society, especially those displaced due to terrorist operations.
During his visit accompanied by a UN delegation to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), Nicholas said that "the UNHCR appreciates the works and projects provided by the holy shrines, especially the Al-Abbas's (p) shrine, such as large humanitarian projects to support the poor and vulnerable groups in society."
The UN official praised these projects and assistance, while expressing his thanks and gratitude for the hospitality and generous reception by those in charge of the holy shrine.
The international delegation conducted a field tour of the corridors of the holy shrine and the Al-Kafeel Museum, expressing its admiration for the unique and important collectibles and artifacts.
