More than 4,000 volunteers attended Jamiat al Zahra University entrance exam on Tuesday, May 17.

Hawzah News Agency - Ms. Ashraf Al-Sadat Armakan, Director of Assessment and Admission of Jamiat Al-Zahra University (PBUH) on the sidelines of the entrance exam, which is held in two virtual formats at different levels and in person stated, today, more than 4,000 people participated in the entrance exam of Jamiat al Zahra University, in the morning and the evening.

She added, in this exam, more than 2,300 people are applying to enter the second level of education, and also more than 1,460 people are participating in the third level entrance exam in 14 different fields of study.

Armakan further added, female students apply for the fourth level entrance exam in 6 fields of Islamic studies, including comparative interpretation, interpretation of Quranic sciences and knowledge, family jurisprudence, Islamic theology, Islamic wisdom as well as history and manners of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

It is worth mentioning that the results of the examination will be announced on June 22, and the results of the fourth level test and the higher jurisprudence course will be announced on June 31. Those who are accepted in this exam, after going through the interview, will officially study as students in Jamiat Al-Zahra University (PBUH).

Jami'at al-Zahra is the world's main Shia seminary for women. It is located in Qom, Iran.

The seminary teaches female students only, both Iranian and foreign. Most students attend the college, though distance learning is also possible.
