Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba reviewed protecting diplomatic missions, rendering humanitarian aid and bilateral issues.

Hawzah News Agency – Elaborating on Iran position against the war, Amir Abdollahian stressed the need to pay attention to the political solution and diplomatic dialogue.

The Islamic Republic of Iran hopes that the talks between the parties will lead to stability and peace, he added.

Referring to Iran's readiness to send a Red Crescent medical team to Ukraine, he said: "It is necessary to ensure the complete security of the diplomatic premises and the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kiev."

Meanwhile, Kuleba appreciated Iran for its opposition against the war and stressed that the Ukrainian government would do its best to protect diplomatic facilities.

Emphasizing Ukraine's position with regard to ending war and conflict, he welcomed the continuation of talks with his Iranian counterpart and expressed hope that bilateral relations would expand at various levels and dimensions.
