Fire near eastern courtyard of grand Mosque in Mecca

Some workers suffered slight suffocation when a fire broke out in some of offices near the eastern courtyard of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

Hawzah News Agency (Mecca, Saudi Arabia) - Some workers suffered slight suffocation when a fire broke out in some of ۱۵ prefab offices near the eastern courtyard of the Grand Mosque.

According to the Saudi Gazette, the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.

 

The workers were treated on the spot by Saudi Red Crescent paramedics, Mecca Civil Defense Spokesman Maj. Naif Al-Shareef was quoted as saying.

The prefab offices were being used by managers of a contracting company.
