Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated that his father narrated from Ahmad ibn Idris, from Muhammad ibn Ahmad, from Muhammad ibn Al-Sindy, from Ali ibn al-Hikam, from Muhammad ibn al-Fuzayl, from Sharis al-Vabeshy, from Jabir, from Imam Baqir (pbuh) that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَيُوجَدُ رِيحُهَا مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ، وَلَا يَجِدُهَا عَاقٌّ وَلَا دَيُّوثٌ.
قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَمَا الدَّيُّوثُ؟
قَالَ: الَّذِي تَزْنِي امْرَأَتُهُ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ.
Indeed, the scent of Paradise can be found from a distance of five hundred years, but two individuals will not perceive it: a disobedient son (to his parents) and a Dayyuth.”
It was asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is a Dayyuth?”
He replied: “He whose wife commits adultery and he is aware of it.
