Hawzah News Agency- In a video message marking the historic funeral procession of the martyred Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei's body through Iraq, al-Walai declared: "Today, we stand before an exceptional event—an event that has interwoven tears with dignity, grief with pride, and loyalty with love."
He added: "Today, we have gathered to welcome and bid farewell to the pure body of a personality who stood alongside the Iraqi nation and, in the most difficult of circumstances, dedicated all his strength to the path of defending truth, dignity, and honor."
The Secretary-General of the Iraqi resistance group stressed that the funeral of the martyred Imam Ayatollah Khamenei is far more than a ceremony of sentiment and conscience. "This presence is a declaration of loyalty to the path of dignity and honor, and an affirmation of the continuation of the martyrs' path and the values for which they sacrificed their lives," al-Walai stated.
Al-Walai also called upon all segments of society—academics, professors, youth, and social activists—to participate in the funeral rites, emphasizing: "Attending the funeral of the martyrs is not merely bidding farewell to a body; it is a renewal of the covenant with Almighty God and the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them)."
"Nations will never forget those who sacrificed for their dignity and honor," he underscored.
The Secretary-General of Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada concluded by affirming: "True loyalty between nations and leaders is not forged through words and slogans alone, but finds its meaning through sincerity, sacrifice, and standing alongside the people."
The massive turnout of mourners across Iraqi cities, from Baghdad to Najaf and Karbala, stands as a living testament to the profound and unbreakable bond forged between the martyred Leader and the Iraqi nation—a bond sealed in blood during the battles against the Takfiri terrorist onslaught, when Imam Khamenei stood resolutely with Iraq in its darkest hours, never wavering in his commitment to the country's sovereignty, unity, and the protection of its holy sites.
