Hawzah News Agency- While the Iranian nation stands as a paragon of resistance and views martyrdom as an ultimate aspiration, this sentiment should never be misconstrued as a Shi'a proclivity for war. Islam is, at its core, a faith of peace, mercy, and amity. It embraces friendship only when it is forged in the crucible of justice, and it takes up arms only when the path to a dignified peace is otherwise obstructed. It is precisely within this doctrinal framework that we must analyze the current ceasefire.
The statement issued by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) is, as its mandate suggests, focused on safeguarding national security. The approach outlined in the communiqué is entirely consistent with the broader strategic doctrine of the Islamic Establishment.
The most salient feature of this statement is the temporary nature of the truce. This is not an act of capitulation. Rather, it is a calculated maneuver aimed at compelling the global hegemonic system—which has long fancied itself an unchallenged superpower—to acquiesce to Iran's terms, thereby setting the stage for the realization of loftier strategic objectives.
Given the inherent and irreconcilable dichotomy between Truth and Falsehood, a state of absolute peace or a permanent ceasefire with the axis of global arrogance is a theoretical and practical impossibility. The acceptance of this truce is a tactical move designed to push back the enemy's encroachment; it is by no means an indication of a strategic retreat by the Front of Righteousness.
By agreeing to this temporary halt—strictly conditional upon the enemy's adherence to its terms—Iran seeks to sculpt a new Middle East, the blueprint of which was first sketched by the late Imam Khomeini (RA).
There exists a fundamental disparity between the adversary of yesterday—entrenched in the battlefield—and the adversary of today—confronting the dawn of this truce. Until recently, the enemy refused to acknowledge the might and sovereignty of the Resistance. Today, however, even if superficially or begrudgingly, it finds itself compelled to recognize this formidable power. Herein lies Iran's strategic leverage. The Islamic Republic is actively pursuing a recalibration of the global order. Whether this transformation unfolds on the battlefield, under the auspices of a temporary truce, or within the framework of a peace accord that preserves all revolutionary principles, the objective remains unwavering.
