Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh narrated from Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Attar who narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad al-Adami, who narrated from Uthman ibn Isa, from Khalid ibn Najih who narrated that some people discussed bad omens in the presence of Imam Sadiq (pbuh) so he said:
A bad omen is [found] in three things: in a woman, a riding animal, and a house.
1. As for the bad omen of a woman, it is her excessive dowry and her disobedience to her husband.
2. As for the riding animal, it is its bad temperament and its refusing to be ridden.
3. And as for the house, it is its narrow courtyard, its evil neighbors, and its many defects.
