Three Traits to Learn from the Crow

Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn Ali Majilawayh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from his uncle Muhammad ibn Abi al-Qasim, from Ahmad ibn Abi Abd Allah, from Ali ibn Muhammad, from Abu Ayyub al-Madini, from Sulayman ibn Ja’far al-Ja’fari, from Imam Ridha (pbuh), from his forefathers, from Imam Ali (pbuh) that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said:

تَعَلَّمُوا مِنَ الْغُرَابِ خِصَالًا ثَلَاثاً اسْتِتَارَهُ بِالسِّفَادِ وَ بُکُورَهُ فِی طَلَبِ الرِّزْقِ وَ حَذَرَهُ.

Learn three traits from the crow: its concealment during mating, its early rising in pursuit of sustenance, and its caution.
