Downed US AWACS by Iran’s cheap drone stuns world as public rallies choke enemy

TEHRAN – In a major blow to American military prestige, images of a destroyed US AWACS aircraft – one of Washington’s most expensive strategic assets – shot down by a low-cost Iranian Shahed drone have triggered a massive global reaction, military analysts say.

Hawzah News Agency- The development came just one day after US President Donald Trump claimed that Tehran’s military capabilities had been destroyed, according to the latest War Newsletter on Iran’s defense against American-Israeli aggression.

America has ‘no choice but to retreat’

Brigadier General Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, said the destruction of American aerial assets is ongoing.

“Paralyzing America’s radar network, logistics, and inflicting casualties in the region continues,” he stated.

“Thanks to Iran’s intelligence dominance and strikes, America has no option but to distance itself from Iran’s borders. The wreckage of AWACS planes, refueling tankers, and destroyed American hangars speak for themselves. Soon, more high-value targets will be added to this list.”

Public cooperation breaks records

In a remarkable show of national unity, Iranian citizens have set a new 10-year record in gasoline savings following Zionist-American attacks on oil depots and official calls for energy conservation. Gas stations across the country have reported a sharp drop in visitors.

Heavy civilian toll

The Iranian Ministry of Health has released updated casualty figures since the start of the war: 244 women, 214 children under 18, and 17 children under the age of five have been martyred in American-Israeli aggression.

‘Israel being hit very hard’

In the occupied territories, panic is spreading. Zionist activist Shaul Ben-Ephraim admitted: “Israel is being hit very hard today. Britain faces medicine shortages

Security Council ‘no different from a café’

Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş slammed the UN Security Council’s inaction, saying: “Iran was attacked and the UN Security Council held a meeting; but whether it meets or not doesn’t matter to anyone anymore — because the Security Council in New York is now no different from a café.”

He added that the current chaotic world order means “if someone falls, they can no longer get back up.”

14 countries seek veto reform

In a significant diplomatic move, 14 countries led by Spain and Mexico have signed a document calling for restrictions on the use of the veto in the UN Security Council. Under the initiative, countries directly involved in conflicts — such as the United States regarding Iran — would no longer be able to use their veto power to block resolutions aimed at stopping aggression or condemning their actions.

Al-Araby TV office in Tehran hit

In a continued violation of the laws of war, the headquarters building of the Al-Araby television network in Tehran was targeted by American airstrikes, the newsletter reported.

Streets remain in hands of the people

Despite one full month of war, Iran’s streets remain under popular control. While the armed forces engage American and Israeli forces, citizens continue organizing convoys and public gatherings. Basij volunteers, alongside police, are handling security through patrols and checkpoints to prevent Mossad and CIA mercenaries from creating chaos.

“The people remain in the streets and have declared that they will continue their presence no matter how long it takes,” the newsletter stated.

Parliament speaker: Do not abandon the streets

On the 30th day of national defense, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament issued a message: “We are confident that with the support of the nation and under the guidance of our Supreme Leader, we can punish and make America regret ever thinking of attacking Iran again. Do not abandon the streets — because our missiles, streets, and straits are choking the enemy.”
