Hawzah News Agency- Earlier in his address to the visitors, Leader stated that, “Before the scramble of white men in this our African continent, we were all one (Niger and Nigeria), we were separated by colonialists during the demarcation of countries. We can merely say that we belong to same father and mother; we are like Hassan and Hussain (twins’ brother), but eventually, colonialists separated us by demarcating boundaries”.
Sayyid Zakzaky cautious the visitors regarding the hidden plans of enemies. He says, “Enemies are always trying to strike conflicts between us (Niger and Nigeria. Hence, we should never allow such ethnic misunderstanding to become effective among us. This is indeed a ‘divide and rule’ motive by those who separated us as different countries”.
When turning to the current situation of Islam and Muslims, Sayyid Zakzaky also appealed to the visitors to never allow religious misunderstanding to take effect among us. He stated that, “Whoever professes the belief that, ‘There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messanger’ (La’ilaha Ilallallah Muhammadur Rasulallah) is our Muslim brother, we are one in faith. We should never allow such attempts of ‘disagreement in school in taught’. We should never address our faction as ‘Mushrikuun’ (Those who attribute being to Almighty Allah). We should never allow religious variance or heresy (Bidi’a) to become effective among us. All these are hidden mischievous plans by enemies who grossly benefit from our misunderstandings.
Buttressing his statement, Leader reminded the visitors by citing the Qur’anic verse where Almighty Allah says, “We made people of different nations and tribes in order to know each other, one who is the most in the sight of Almighty Allah, is the one who fears Allah most”.
Sayyid Zakzaky further interprets that “It is the wisdom of Almighty Allah He made people of different race on earth”.
Speaking about the current trend of white inversion, Leader Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky explained how enemies are trying to advance to our domain with a view to invading us, and secretly loot our resources. In fact, this is the motive behind tribal and religious differences they are trying to create among us.
Leader says, “When we reflect on our life about 50 year ago, Muslims are not addressing other faction as infidels. About half a decade ago in Muslims land, Muslims never do not abhor to follow others in daily prayer, but enemies are now victorious over us with this religious variance and misunderstandings. Hence, we should also be careful''. the leader emphasized.
Sayyid Zakzaky encouraged them to maintain ‘family relationship’ among themselves, acknowledging that Almighty Allah has created the term ‘family relationship’ (family visit) from His holy names, and He explained that whoever cut off from ‘family relationship’ (family visit), Almighty Allah will Himself cut off from such person.
Leader added that, “Any biological relative of yours with whom you are related by blood especially through the mother’s side, or through the father’s side, is your biological relative. Visiting him is religious mandate; and family visit increases life longevity”.
Advising them further on religious tribalism, Leader added that, “Any religious claim which tells you that your Muslim brother is not your brother, because you share different doctrine (school of taught), any scholar who tries to instill this variance in you is deserved to be called Iblis (Devil)”.
Leader added that, “Now these set of people have come and divided friendships and family relationship. When you meet across with your brother, you don’t even know he’s married, you don’t know he has put to bed. This is self-sentiment or Sunnah (as they claim)?
Well, we are oriniginally known for our friendship and family relationship, this has been known right from inception. Hence, let’s not allow it to take effect and dissociate us”.
At the end of his speech, Leader (H) drew their attention to the significance of conveying the true message of Islam to the nooks and crannies of Niger community, which are not reachable to anyone except them. The should spread the true message of Islam in their own spoken language. They should defeat the minds of indigenous community of Niger Republic to understand who try to instigate us to fight ethnically? We hope to see things go as they should, by God’s willing.
