Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Sa’ed ibn Abdullah, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Al-Hijal, from Ala’, from Muhammad ibn Muslim who said that he had heard Imam Baqir (pbuh) say:
إِنَّ الخَيْرَ ثَقُلَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى قَدْرِ ثِقَلِهِ فِي مَوَازِينِهِمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ، وَإِنَّ الشَّرَّ خَفَّ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى قَدْرِ خِفَّتِهِ فِي مَوَازِينِهِمْ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ.
Good deeds are heavy upon the people of this world in proportion to how heavy they will be in their scales on the Day of Judgment;
and evil deeds are light upon the people of this world in proportion to how light they will be in their scales on the Day of Judgment.
