Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (a.s) said:
إِنَّمَا يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ مَنْ كَانَتْ فِيهِ ثَلَاثُ خِصَالٍ عَامِلٌ بِمَا يَأْمُرُ بِهِ وَ تَارِكُ لِمَا يَنْهَى عَنْهُ عَادِلٌ فِيمَا يَأْمُرُ عَادِلٌ فِيمَا يَنْهَى رَفِيقٌ فِيمَا يَأْمُرُ وَ رَفِيقٌ فِيمَا يَنْهَى.
Only he should enjoin good and forbid evil who possesses three qualities: he acts upon what he enjoins and abstains from what he forbids, he is just in what he enjoins and just in what he forbids, and he is gentle in what he enjoins and gentle in what he forbids.
