Qom Seminary Delegation Honors Hezbollah’s Spiritual Martyrs in Lebanon

Beirut- A delegation from the Qom Seminary, attending the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, visited southern Lebanon and paid tribute to Hezbollah’s spiritual martyrs and their families.

Hawzah News Agency-According to Hojatoleslam Sayyed Mofid Hosseini Kouhsari, Deputy Head of International Affairs of Iran’s Seminaries, the delegation traveled from Beirut to Nabatiyeh, where it honored the families of Sheikh Ali Aburiya, Sheikh Abdo, and Sheikh Seyed al-Ameli. He noted that the families welcomed the visit, describing it as a gesture that eased their sense of loss and reaffirmed the bond between Iranian scholars and the resistance community.

The delegation also visited the Baqiyat Allah Seminary in Nabatiyeh, meeting with its director Sheikh Hassan Suwaidan, as well as students and teachers, to explore avenues of cooperation and exchange of experiences between Iranian and Lebanese seminaries.

During the trip, the scholars attended a cultural and literary program at the tomb of Sheikh Hashem Safi al-Din in Deir Qanun, where Iranian greetings were conveyed to Lebanese mujahideen. Emphasis was placed on the role of poetry, literature, and art in strengthening the discourse of resistance and confronting cultural and cognitive warfare.

Hojatoleslam Hosseini Kouhsari stressed that in today’s era of hybrid warfare, mobilizing writers, artists, and intellectuals alongside religious scholars is essential to preserve and expand the resistance discourse.
