Hawzah News Agency – Hojatoleslam Abdulhamid Raeisi, delivering this week's Friday prayer sermons, identified national unity and internal cohesion as core pillars of Iran's strength, stressing that Washington's hostility transcends personalities and political camps.
"For the enemy, it makes no difference who is president, minister, or official," Raeisi said. "What has been targeted is a powerful and independent Iran."
Iran's Strikes Growing More Precise
Pointing to recent developments and confrontations, the cleric said the Iranian nation, relying on its leadership, the support of its armed forces, and internal cohesion, has demonstrated that it will not retreat in the face of pressure and threats.
"As the battle has progressed, Iran's strikes have become more precise and more effective," he stated.
Raeisi added that these developments have served to expose the true nature of American policies to global public opinion, asserting that the Iranian nation, drawing on its historical experience, will not be deceived by America's appearances and claims.
Warning Against Polarization
The Bandar Abbas Friday prayer leader issued a stark warning against the formation of political and social fault lines within the country, cautioning that issues such as "war versus negotiation" and labels like "unity versus extremism" or "warmongering" must not be weaponized to create divisions in society.
"All political currents, officials, writers, and analysts must consider themselves the addressees of the Supreme Leader's recommendations," Raeisi emphasized. "They should not imagine that these recommendations apply only to the opposing camp."
He urged all sides to refrain from exploiting sensitive national debates for partisan advantage, warning that such polarization serves only the enemy's strategic objectives.
Tribute to Air Defense Forces
Commemorating Air Defense Day, the Friday prayer leader praised the performance of Iran's air defense units, noting that their vigilance and readiness have proven critical in the ongoing confrontation.
He also commended government measures during the conflict, including securing essential supplies for the population, repairing damaged infrastructure, and managing energy resources.
"Service to the people is an opportunity for officials," Raeisi concluded. "Managers must value this opportunity and pursue the resolution of the people's economic and livelihood problems with greater determination."
