'Iran Will Never Bow to Enemy': Isfahan Friday Prayer Leader Vows Crushing Response to US Aggression

ISFAHAN – The Iranian nation has proven through its steadfastness and resistance against enemy aggression that it will never retreat, accept humiliation, or pay tribute to its adversaries, the interim Friday prayer leader of Isfahan declared.

Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Hossein Mohammadi, delivering sermons at the Grand Imam Khomeini Prayer Hall, said the Iranian people, relying on domestic capability and presence on the battlefield, will continue standing against enemy conspiracies.

Unity Around Leadership Is Essential

The cleric emphasized that divine blessings — both material and spiritual — are innumerable, citing Quranic verses that call upon believers to remember and speak of God's favors. Among the greatest of these blessings, he said, is the institution of wilayah (guardianship) and imamate.

Highlighting the importance of unity, Mohammadi pointed to the Supreme Leader's recent message marking Unity Week, which stressed Islamic solidarity and social cohesion.

"Every unity and cohesion requires an axis, and in the current era, that axis is the Guardian Jurist," he stated. "All must preserve their unity around this axis."

He noted the Supreme Leader's guidance to officials, emphasizing the highlighting of strengths alongside constructive criticism, and praised the government's efforts despite sanctions, sieges, and restrictions.

No Abandonment of Hijab and Chastity

Addressing interpretations of the Supreme Leader's message regarding hijab and chastity, Hojatoleslam Mohammadi rejected any suggestion that the issue had been set aside.

"The notion that the Leader's message means abandoning hijab and chastity is incorrect," he said. "If any action is ill-considered, lacking scientific backing, and purely emotional, harming social cohesion, it must be avoided."

However, he stressed that neglecting hijab and chastity itself damages family and societal cohesion. "The enemy, through promoting immorality, seeks the collapse of families. The Leader's message must not be interpreted as abandoning hijab and chastity."

Lessons From Early Islam

Drawing parallels from Islamic history, the Friday prayer leader recounted the story of the Banu Nadir tribe in Medina, who broke their covenant with the Prophet and plotted his assassination.

"The Prophet dealt with this decisively," Mohammadi said. "This story carries lessons for us today: if the enemy breaks agreements and fails to honor commitments, it must be confronted seriously and made to regret its actions."

Iran Will Not Retreat Before American Attacks

Addressing recent US military strikes on southern Iran, the cleric condemned repeated American crimes against the Iranian people.

"The US Army, several nights ago, attacked various regions of the country, repeating a crime in southern Iran with precedents in Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Pakistan," he stated.

He declared that Iran's armed forces delivered a crushing response, targeting American military installations in Jordan — including a Marine camp — as well as in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq's Kurdistan region.

"This operation demonstrated that the Iranian nation will not retreat, will not accept humiliation, and will not pay tribute to the enemy," Mohammadi said.

'Iranians Have Already Risen'

Responding to the US president's question about when Iranians will "rise up," the cleric offered a forceful rebuttal.

"Iranians have already risen. They rose in 1979 and expelled the Americans from the country," he declared. "Today, by the blessing of the martyred leader's blood and the blood of martyrs, they remain standing — and they will expel America from the region."

He added: "Iranians have risen and will destroy the usurping Zionist regime. Iranians have stood in the streets for 180 nights against America, the Zionists, and their domestic agents and mercenaries. They will continue this uprising until complete victory."

Resistance Front Will Triumph

On regional developments, Mohammadi acknowledged conflicting reports regarding recent Zionist attacks, but expressed unwavering faith in the unity of the Resistance Front.

"In Yemen, the victories of Ansarullah are evident, and we believe that the entire Resistance Front will triumph by God's grace," he said. "The front of falsehood will meet humiliation and disgrace."
