Hawzah News Agency- Speaking in a meeting with Seyyed Ammar Hakim, leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement, on Sunday in Tehran, Amoli Larijani praised the bravery of the Iranian armed forces and the unity of the people in the face of foreign conspiracies and pressure.
He highlighted the unbreakable bond between Iran and Iraq, warning that the US and Zionist regime’s pressure on the Popular Mobilization Forces is aimed at weakening regional countries and advancing the project of “Greater Israel.”
Pointing to the developments of the 12-day war, the head of the Expediency Council said the Americans, while speaking of negotiations, revealed their true intentions by supporting aggression. He added that the solidarity of the Iranian nation and the strength of the armed forces dismantled illusions and hostile plots against the Islamic Republic.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani also referred to the wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief in appointing successors to martyred commanders, saying the courageous performance of the armed forces, including their precise missile capabilities, consolidated national unity and broad public support for the Islamic system.
For his part, Seyyed Ammar Hakim expressed the pride of the Iraqi people and the wider Islamic world in Iran’s resistance during the 12-day war. He said Iran’s victory against Zionist aggression enhanced the country’s international standing and encouraged Muslim nations.
Hakim also underlined the brotherly ties between the two nations and called for expanded cooperation, particularly in trade, while wishing success for the Supreme Leader, Iranian officials, and the nation.
