Hawzah News Agency- Hojjat-ul-Islam and Muslims Sayyid Haider Hashemi, representative of Ayatollah Sistani in Balkh province and speaker of the Ashura ceremony at the Soltaniyeh Mosque, pointed out that Ashura is not only for mourning, but also a day of slogan and honoring a life with dignity, and said that 99.9 percent of the country's residents are Muslims and followers of Imam Sadiq (AS) and Imam Abu Hanifa (RA), and the Great Imam also had the honor of being a student of Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS) for two years.
Hujjat al-Islam Hashemi said that Imam Hussein (AS) said: "I did not leave Medina to gain power, but I left to reform the nation of my grandfather''.
He called Yazid and his government apparatus the standard of opposition to Islamic and human values and added: "Fighting oppression, moral corruption, atheism and distortion are the main axes of the Ashura movement''.
Hojjatoleslam Hashemi praised the solidarity and sympathy of the mourners of Hussein (AS) with the residents of Gaza, and acknowledged that love for the master of martyrs, Agha Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS), is the honor of Afghanistan.
