Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abdul Fattah Nawab, the Representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and the Head of Iranian Pilgrims, in the first part of the meeting with the Shia sources of emulation, separately discussed with Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, Sobhani, and Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Shahrestani, the Representative of Ayatollah Sistani, about the upcoming Hajj and issues in the Hajj and Pilgrimage Department.
In these meetings, the representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs reported on the way the past Hajj was held and the measures taken to send pilgrims to the land of revelation, and outlined the plans and activities of the Supreme Leader's delegation in various fields, including the cultural and administrative aspects of Hajj, and familiarizing pilgrims with the teachings of Hajj as much as possible. The great religious authorities also provided guidelines and recommendations in this regard.
Based on this report, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Shahrestani, the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Iran, also met with the head of Iranian pilgrims, exchanging views on issues in the field of Hajj and pilgrimage, and called for the development of relations and good neighborliness with regional countries, especially Saudi Arabia.
In this meeting, the head of Iranian pilgrims also explained the plans to send more than 85,000 pilgrims to Hajj ceremony this year.
