Activist calls for urgent OIC meeting to stop genocide in Gaza

Following the intensification of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the continuation of the atrocities of the Zionist regime, Hafez Naeem-ur-Rahman sent letters to the leaders of Islamic countries, including the President of Iran, calling for an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Hawzah News Agency- The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafez Naeem-ur-Rahman addressed the President of Iran and other leaders of Islamic countries in a letter, calling for unity and consensus of Muslim governments in defending the oppressed people of Palestine. He reiterated the need to adopt firm and united positions to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime and effectively support the people of Gaza.

Proposal to name April 20 as "Day of Solidarity with Gaza"

In this letter, Hafez Naeem-ur-Rahman proposed that April 20 be named "Day of Solidarity with Gaza." He called on Islamic countries to declare their support for the Palestinian nation in a broad and official manner by holding coordinated ceremonies and activities to make the voice of the Islamic Ummah heard by the world.

Humanitarian crisis in Gaza

Referring to the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza Strip, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami wrote: The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has exceeded all boundaries and aches the heart of every free person. He referred to the deliberate targeting of civilians, hospitals, schools and shelters and considered the current situation a clear example of a crime against humanity.

Urgent and historic action requested by Islamic countries

Finally, emphasizing the support of the Pakistani people for the Palestinian nation, he called on the leaders of Islamic countries to take immediate, coordinated and effective actions to end the daily killings and atrocities of the Zionist regime and to fulfill their historical responsibility at this sensitive juncture.
