Hawzah News Agency- The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization stated,” Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran has complete mastery of nuclear knowledge and is among the countries with a nuclear industry.”

He further noted, “One thousand megawatts of Iran’s electricity portfolio are supplied through nuclear technology.”

Referring to the 50-year history of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Eslami noted,” More than 25,000 people are currently working in different departments of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, and this complex has 40 to 50 affiliated companies.”

Regarding the use of radiopharmaceuticals in society, he said that more than one million people in the health sector benefit annually from products produced based on nuclear technology.

He also emphasized the importance of using nuclear technology in agricultural products.

It is worth noting that during his one-day visit to Qom, the Vice President met with senior Shia scholars Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Javad Shahrestani, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani, and Grand Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri, head of the Qom Seminary Teachers' Society.

Mohammad Eslami also appreciated the guidance of the great religious authorities and scholars of Qom.
