Hawzah News Agency - In explaining Wisdom 151 of Nahj al-Balaghah, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, "In this radiant saying, Amir al-Mu'minin says: 'A human being is not like an ordinary creature that perishes. Death is not annihilation, but a transition. It is a transition from one state to another; therefore, a human being will never be destroyed and whatever he does will be preserved.'"
He explained, "The outcome of a person's actions accompanies them and does not come to an end. God mentions in the Holy Quran that the angels are with you and never sleep nor become negligent. They record your good and bad deeds; thus, Imam Ali (a) says that a human being is like a tree, and their actions are their fruits. These fruits are either sweet or bitter, depending on his actions."
He emphasized, "It is not the case that the firewood for Hell is supplied from the forest, trees, and such; rather, those who commit injustices in the world, like the Zionists or those who violate the rights of others, are the true fuel for the fire of Hell."
Ayatollah Javadi Amoli further referred to the verses of Surah Al-A'raf and stated, "God took a confession of monotheism from all humans in 'Aalam Al-Dhar, and this confession serves as proof for everyone. Therefore, no one on the Day of Resurrection can excuse themselves by saying they lived in an environment of polytheism or disbelief because the essence of monotheism has been ingrained in the nature of all humans."
In explaining the reality of a human being and its connection with the soul and body, he stated, "A human being is a reality that transcends the body, and the soul constitutes the essential nature of a human. According to the verses of the Holy Quran, the limbs of the body are mere tools at the disposal of the soul, and the true essence of a human lies within their soul."
This grand source of emulation emphasized, "On the Day of Resurrection, the body parts will testify to the deeds of the person, but this testimony is due to divine command. The hands and feet are not considered as the body of the person; if the hands and feet were indeed the body, the discussion here should have been about confession, not testimony. However, these limbs will testify on the Day of Resurrection. They are God's trustworthy witnesses."
