On the threshold of the martyrdom anniversary of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, Malaysian thinkers and theorists, in exclusive interviews with the IRIB news agency in Kuala Lumpur, pointing to the prudence, steadfastness and valiant struggle of this lofty martyr, said, "General Soleimani's presence in the field of fighting DAESH and extremist terrorists to set up stability and security in West Asia- as an international military strategic axis- has made this prominent martyr as a hero and the symbol of struggle against terrorism in the modern insecure world."

"Mohammad Azmi Abdul Hamid", Head of the Malaysian Council of Islamic NGOs, marking the memory of Martyr Soleimani, said, "Regarding the current ups and downs in West Asia, the special role and position of this martyr in fighting terrorism has been clear for all more than ever."

Abdul Hamid made it clear, "General Soleimani, as a trans-regional hero suppressed DAESH in Syria- the element which had been brought up by the US and the West- with faith, commitment and prudence, and thwarted the American plots which had been hatched in the region in complicity with the Zionist regime."

"Ahmad Faruq Musa", Head of the Malaysian Islamic Renaissance Movement, also said, "Basically, the US was provoked by the Zionist regime to assassinate Martyr Soleimani."

Faruq Musa continued, "The unmanly assassination of Martyr Soleimani disclosed the Americans' duplicitous behavior as they masqueraded to fight DAESH on the one hand, while they assassinated the only man who had sincerely stood against this terrorist group on the other hand."

Head of the Malaysian Islamic Renaissance Movement reiterated, "This illegal move, which was against international law, disturbed the [course of] settling peace and security and has led to instability in the region ever since with the help of extremist groups."

"Raja Kamal Bahrain", Head of the International Relations Department of Amanah Party, also, stated that the Iranian top general, Martyr Soleimani's prudence and rationality in the battlefield was an international strategic military axis in view of military experts, and added, "Even the enemies and spiteful people have acknowledged several times this special role and status of Martyr Soleimani."

Kamal Bahrain went on to say, "In addition to annihilation of DAESH- as the greatest achievement of the resistance front- other effective developments have been registered in the record of Martyr Soleimani such as preventing the definite fall of Iraq."

This Malaysian thinker added, "General Soleimani's active and effective presence in the battlefield against extremist terrorists highlighted his character in the world as a hero and the symbol of fight against terrorism."
