Hawzah News Agency- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in a statement, has condemned the attack and burning of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
The organization stated that the Zionist regime’s aggression against the healthcare sector, especially targeting, besieging and raiding hospitals and detaining medical staff, the wounded and patients, is a clear violation of international and humanitarian law and UN resolutions.
In this statement, the OIC called on the international community to fulfill its duties in trying to establish a permanent ceasefire and stop the hostile military aggression of the Zionist regime and ensure the defense of the infrastructure and medical staff working in hospitals and the rights of the patients and wounded.
The organization also emphasized the need to provide humanitarian and medical aid and adequate and unhindered services throughout the Gaza Strip.
It is worth mentioning that Munir Al-Barsh, the director of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, announced on Friday evening that the Kamal Adwan Hospital had been set on fire after it was forcibly evacuated by the Zionist regime.
The Zionist soldiers set fire to the hospital after committing a horrific crime around it, in which 50 Palestinians, including five medical staff, were martyred.
