Hawzah News Agency- Mrs. Seyedah Zohreh Borqei, chancellor of Jamiat Al-Zahra University, peace be upon her, and the accompanying delegation visited the Imam Barah Mosque in Bangkok on Sunday night and performed Maghrib and Isha congregational prayers in this mosque.
The Imam Bareh Mosque was established by the late Grand Ayatollah Khoei before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and the Darul Alam Seminary is located next to it.
The most prestigious and important Shiite Mosque in Bangkok is the "Imam Bareh” mosque, whose imam was a person named Abdul Qayyum. This mosque is decorated with Thai architecture and Quranic patterns and prayers.
Since ancient times, mosques in Thailand have been built alongside temples, churches and places of worship of other religions without any difference. In the historical versions of the ancient Thais, the mosque was called by several different names such as "Kudi", "Suraw", "Imam Bareh" and "Balai".
According to the order of the Quran and the Prophet of Islam, Muslims should communicate with each other and inquire about each other's conditions in order to be aware of the problems of each region and help each other to maintain the unity and solidarity of Muslims.
