Hawzah News Agency- the Quranic community of Iran issued a statement condemning the recent desecration of the Holy Quran by the Zionist regime in one of the mosques in northern Gaza.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Merciful

In the continuation of the evil crimes of the enemies of humanity, that is, the evil Zionists, who have committed all the imaginable evil before the whole world during the last year, the crime of insulting the sanctity of the Holy Quran showed that the hostility of this regime is not limited to territorial issues.

Now that revenge against the enemy for encroaching on the holy land of Iran and desecrating and killing its beloved guest Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh is on the agenda, the Quranic society of the Islamic Republic of Iran asks the respected officials to put this encroachment and breach of sanctity and desecration of the divine word on file. The crimes of that evil and corrupt regime and its puppet master, the United States, should be punished so that it teaches a lesson for all the criminals of the time and they receive divine punishment from the powerful government of the Islamic Republic.

In this regard, the Quranic community of Iran declares its all-round readiness to implement the commands and measures of the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution and any kind of sacrifice in defense of the sanctity of the Holy Quran, as well as full support for the oppressed people of Gaza, and, God willing, fulfill its duty to follow the Quranic foundations of revolution and Islamic resistance with more seriousness.
