Hawzah News Agency- A member of Qom Seminary Teachers’ Society Ayatollah Mohsen Faqihi issued a condolence message over the demise of Ayatollah Ali Shakeri stating:

The news of the passing away of the pious scholar, humble and ascetic scientist, popular spiritualist, and writer, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Ali Shakeri, may God have mercy on him, caused a lot of grief and sorrow.

The deceased, who was one of the dependents of the late Ayatollah Grand Ayatollah Haj Seyyed Mohammad Reza Mousavi Golpayegani and his trustee, and also trusted and approved by the late Ayatollah Grand Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Lotfollah Safi Golpayegani; He spent his precious life educating diligent students, and promoting the enlightened teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them.

He was one of the prominent examiners of advanced jurisprudence courses at the Seminary of Qom, and many professors and elites of Qom Seminary studied under him. The late ayatollah was known for his morals, modesty, simplicity, sincerity, and philanthropy.

I express my condolences to the great Shia authorities, seminaries, professors, and the students of His Excellency, the bereaved family of Late Ayatollah Golpayegani. I pray for God's blessings and patience for them, and patience and reward for the survivors.
