Hawzah News Agency- on the third day of Tehran International Book Fair, writers, poets and authors of the Arab world sat down to talk at the House of Nations. The purpose of this meeting was to bring together writers of the Islamic world with the oppressed people of Gaza and to announce help to them.
In this ceremony, Mohsen Parviz, secretary of the Palestine World Award, stated that today, Palestine has become the top priority of the Islamic world and the first issue of the justice and freedom seekers of the world. It is our duty as writers to depict these crimes and not let these painful scenes be forgotten with the passage of time.
Tarad Hamadeh, the vice-chairman of the Palestine World Award, also noted that this year's book fair is being held while we are witnessing a brutal war by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza, Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Syria and all the countries that are active in the resistance axis and in the neighborhood of Palestine. Of course, all these countries are accompanied by the powerful support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and have taught the enemy a great lesson.
Hamadeh went on to say that the Palestine World Award has revealed two factors to us; First, we are witnessing the widespread acceptance of the writers of the Islamic world and beyond about the Palestinian issue. Therefore, this issue has inspired all nations. The second factor is that we see various types of literary creative techniques in this world award; As a memoirist, Professor Shafiq won the prize for this field in the Palestine World Award, and his book is in all of our homes.”
Munir Shafiq, one of the thinkers of the Arab world and the winner of the first round of the Palestine World Award in 2022, said in Beirut,” Today, after 45 years, we see that the Palestinian resistance has reached an unprecedented level in terms of achievements, and we are witnessing a tremendous change in the battle against Israel. The role of Iran during these years has been truly prominent since what we witness today in this war, is supported by science and engineering plans. This strategy has made Palestine stand against the rockets and tanks of the Zionist regime.”
Also, Youssef Shaqra, the head of the Algerian Writers' Union, said,” We consider this award to be the most prestigious award in the Arab and Islamic world. Palestine has created resistance and taught everyone the lesson of sacrifice and martyrdom.”
