Hawzah News Agency- The Director of the Quranic Affairs Center at Astan Quds Razavi outlined the Quranic activities during the last ten days of the lunar month of Safar, which includes mourning processions for martyrdom of Imam Reza (PBUH).

Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Masoud Mirian said that an exhibition in one of the courtyards of the shrine showcases Quranic achievements of the shrine, while also offering several Quranic programs.

Programs include thematic memorization of Quranic verses, teaching reading and fluent recitation, interpretation and reflection centered on Quranic stories, teaching melodic recitation, and reciting selected Quranic verses, he added.

Family discussions centered on selected verses are also part of the exhibition's activities, he added.

Mirian highlighted the implementation of special Quranic programs for children and teenagers at the exhibition. This year, the Quranic entertainment booth features digital technology, including Iranian games themed around the martyrs of Karbala and Gaza, as well as Quranic games for children based on the Android operating system.

The aim of these programs and games is to better acquaint young people with the events of Karbala and its lessons, he said.

The exhibition opened on August 31, 2024, and runs for one week, from 10 AM to 11 PM.

The exhibition comes as millions of pilgrims from different Iranian provinces head to Mashhad to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.
