Hawzah News Agency- Sayyed Abulghasim Razavi, the President of the Council of Shia Scholars in Australia and the Friday Imam of Melbourne, made history by holding "Hussain (PBUH) Day" in the Victorian Parliament for the first time.
The event saw the participation of key members of the parliament and representatives from various faiths, including Shia, Sunni, Bohra, Agha Khani, Hindu, Sikh, and Christian communities, as well as academics and government officials.
During his speech, Sayyed Abulghasim Razavi conveyed the message of Hussain (PBUH) to all the attendees from different religious backgrounds, stating, “After the event of Karbala, it became evident that there are only two perspectives—either Hussaini or Yazidi.
“Imam Hussain (PBUH) is the beacon of guidance and the vessel of salvation’, and in today's world, where terrorism and hatred are widespread across the globe, this hatred could be eradicated through the teachings of Hussain (PBUH),” he emphasized.
The President of the Council of Shia Scholars in Australia further noted, "People from various faiths have gathered here. See for yourselves how Imam Hussain (PBUH) has united and brought together these diverse groups under the banner of humanity."
