Hawzah News Agency - The holy Quran states:

«تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ... فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ»

"Their sides vacate their beds to supplicate their Lord in fear and hope, ... No one knows what delights have been kept hidden for them [in the Hereafter] as a reward for what they used to do." 1

Explanation:

A true lover craves solitude with their beloved. They seize every opportunity to be by their beloved's side. Any lost chance in this regard fills the lover's entire being with sorrow and sadness, for they have missed the chance to be with their beloved, which is profoundly difficult for a lover. If a lover is not like this, then they are not a true lover.

God, the Almighty, said to Prophet Moses (peace be upon him):

«يَا اِبْنَ عِمْرَانَ، كَذَبَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّنِي فَإِذَا جَنَّهُ اَللَّيْلُ نَامَ عَنِّي أَ لَيْسَ كُلُّ مُحِبٍّ يُحِبُّ خَلْوَةَ حَبِيبِهِ.»

"O son of Imran! Whoever thinks they love Me, but when night falls, they sleep and forget Me, is lying. Is it not true that every lover desires solitude with their beloved?" 2

Indeed, how beautiful it is. The God who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the God who, through the tongue of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) in the Quran, says: "Should you be faithless,—you and everyone on the earth, all together—indeed Allah is all-sufficient, all-laudable." 3, such a God seeks solitude with His beloved!

If someone is adorned with the love and affection that God desires, no one knows the immense reward that the Infinite Beloved has prepared for them. Although, in reality, being in the company of such a Beloved in the middle of the night is the highest reward for the lover.
