Hawzah News Agency- Referring to the rapid developments in the region, Ayatollah Seyyed Yassin Mousavi, the Friday Prayer Imam of Baghdad and a prominent professor at Najaf Ashraf Seminary has stated,” These events were planned in advance and are in fact colonial projects to divide the countries of the region and control their affairs and wealth.”

He further noted that the enemies’ efforts following World War II and the October Revolution led to failure because the Supreme religious authority thwarted them.

Ayatollah Mousavi added, “We are witnessing a bilateral conflict between the East and the West; Iran, Russia and China are on one side and The US and all Western countries are on the other.”

“Today, neutrality is of no use in such a situation, since the enemy acts according to its plans and whoever is not prepared to confront it will become the prey of the enemies of the Islamic Ummah.” He added.

At the end of the sermon, the Friday Prayer Imam of Baghdad said,” The conspiracies have been revealed to everyone. The Zionist media recently wrote that Netanyahu and some Zionist ministers held a meeting and reached an agreement on the plan to divide Syria; while the Americans have begun transferring military equipment and thousands of soldiers from the Ain al-Assad base in Iraq to Syria to support the SDF (Kurdish armed groups) against Turkiye.”
