Hawzah News Agency- on the occasion of the passing away of the pious scholar of Pakistan Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi, a commemoration ceremony will be held in Qom city with the presence of scholars, academic figures and the general public on Wednesday, January 17.
This ceremony will be held on Wednesday after Maghrib and Isha prayers in Imam Khomeini's (RA) Shabestan of Lady Masuma Shrine (PBUH).
Office of the Supreme Leader in Qom, World Assembly of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), Center for Management of Seminaries, Custodian of the Shrine of Lady Masoumeh (PBUH), Al-Mustafa International University, Assembly of Approximation of Islamic Religions, Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, groups and Pakistani scholars living in Qom will participate in this ceremony.
It is worth mentioning that Late Ayatollah Mohsen Ali Najafi, one of the scholars of Pakistan and the founder of Jamia Al-Kowsar Seminary, who was known as a defender of Islamic unity, passed away on Tuesday, January 9 at the age of 84 in Islamabad.
This deceased scholar was the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani in Pakistan and the head of the Supreme Council of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) Assembly of Pakistan, and he managed Al-Kawsar Seminary as the largest Shia religious center and seminary in Pakistan for more than half a century.
