Hawzah News Agency- A coordination meeting for the Muslim Unity Week was held with the presence of Friday Prayer Imam of Iranian Qorveh city, Mamousta Nouri , Friday Prayer Imam of Sunni Muslims of this city as well as the governor and a group of officials on Sunday, October 2.

During the meeting, Hujjat al -Islam Abedin Rostami, Friday imam of Qorveh city congratulated the unity week and the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) and said,” Unity Week provides an opportunity to demonstrate the peaceful coexistence between Sunni and Shia Muslims. Let's say that Islamic unity in Qorveh city is not a slogan, rather a reality and we witness it in the field and social interactions.”

This seminary professor added, “The services of Kurdistan and Sunni Muslims to the system and the services of the system to Kurdistan province are unforgettable.”

Hujjat al-Islam Rostami further noted, “If the leadership calls for unity, it is not mere words, rather this unity is an important fact and one of the foundations and ideology of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran which must be explained in the society, and the week of unity is a very good opportunity to elaborate on this."

Hujjat al -Islam Rostami emphasized,” We will never forget the cruelty, skinning, burning and crimes of the separatist groups of Komala Party and Democrats in Kurdistan province.”

Friday Prayer Imam of Qorveh city added,” All the Sunni scholars and elders of Kurdistan province which has been martyred, like Martyr Mamousta Borhan Alai or Mamousta Shaykh al-Islam were murdered by such groups.”

Pointing out that Sunnis and Shiites are on the same front and in the same stronghold, and of course they have a common enemy, he said,” This year, just like the previous years and even better than the previous years, the programs organized for the Islamic Unity Week should be taken seriously.”
