Hawzah News Agency –The Electrical Division of the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has finished decorating the iwans of the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with lighting lanterns, which were installed at the top of the ceiling of each iwan within the works aimed at completing all the aesthetic matters of this holy place, after the completion of most of the major urban projects, which are part of the endeavors to show it in the most beautiful appearance.
The official of the aforementioned division, Engineer Mohamad Mustafa al-Taweel, told Al-Kafeel Network, “The work of our division’s staff working inside the holy Courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is in two parts. The first is to maintain all electrical parts on an ongoing basis, and the second part is to develop, update and add any device or electrical system and its accessories, including the lighting system, by introducing the aesthetic factor to it, through installing these lantern-shaped lamps."
He added, "The lanterns were installed in the ceiling of each iwan overlooking the courtyard, in an Islamic style and with economic and aesthetic lighting, which were added to the existing ones and to replace the old lamps."
Al-Taweel explained: “Lanterns were installed on all the Iwans of the holy courtyard of the upper and ground floors, with (57) lamps on each floor, and a lantern was installed on each iwan.”
It is noteworthy that the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is one of the vital and effective departments, as it includes many divisions, units and workshops. And the technical and engineering cadres work day and night in the vital facilities at the Holy Shrine, in order to provide the best services to the respected visitors.
