Hawzah News Agency - The Kashmiri Socio-Political Activist and Seminary Student Agha Karar Hashmi offer his deep condolences over the death of the pious scholar Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mohammad Yazdi, to the seminary of Qom and the great Marja's, high-ranking scholars and the respected society of seminary teachers, especially his family.

Among Ayatollah's political activities, we can mention representation in the Assembly of Leadership Experts, membership in the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and membership in the Qom Seminary Teachers Association. He was also known as the intellectual leader of the Sustainability Front. Since 1975 he established, directed, and taught in different academic institutes and was the director of the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute in Qum. He was the author of numerous works on Islamic and comparative philosophy, theology, ethics, and Qur'anic exegesis.

Agha Hashmi expresses condolences over the death of Ayatullah Sheikh Mohammad Yazdi to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, sources of emulation, seminary scholars and his family and friends. Added that deceased was among the main aides to the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini. May Almighty Allah showers mercy, forgiveness, and divine pleasure for this great figure and same time strength his family to bear such irreparable loss.
