Hawzah News Agency - The commemoration ceremony of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani was held in Armenia by the Iranian Cultural Mission in Yerevan and his courage and sincerity were mentioned as the outstanding characteristics of that noble martyr.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, with the help of the Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, the ceremony commemorating the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani was held at the Blue Mosque in Yerevan.

In the ceremony, which was held in full observance of health protocols and in a completely limited and exclusive manner, after playing the national anthem of Iran and reciting some verses of the Holy Quran, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Zohuri, talked about the characteristics of the great personality of Martyr Soleimani and said it must be seen which characteristics were present in him that forced the enemy to carry out this desperate assassination against all international rules. He was sincere, benevolent and with exemplary courage he did all his work only for the sake of God.

The next speaker at the ceremony was Karen Khanlari, a former representative of the northern Armenians in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, who praised the services of General Shahid Soleimani to the Yazidis of Iraq and the Armenians of Syria. Referring to the liberation of Aleppo city of Syria, where many Armenians live, political expert Sergei Shakaryants said liberation of Aleppo was undoubtedly due to the sacrifices of this brave man of high status adding that Armenians are greatly indebted to him.

 Mohammad Masoud Sadeghi, the head of the Iranian Cultural Mission to Yerevan, referring to the statements of the Supreme Leader in the audience given to the family members of Martyr Soleimani with him said the best person to describe Martyr Soleimani is the Supreme Leader. He considers Martyr Soleimani the hero of the Islamic Ummah, because with his actions and martyrdom, he became the code name for the awakening and mobilization of resistance in the Islamic world. He continued by saying that in different countries, the martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani is paid tribute. He taught the software of resistance and the pattern of struggle to the nations.
