The senior cleric further noted that Reza Khan had a mission from foreigners to brainwash people and promote atheism in the country, therefore he inflicted severe blows on the religious community of that time and inflicted a lot of harassment and persecution on religious and Muslim individuals; In such a way that in his era, mosques turned to warehouses, Friday and congregational prayers were banned, many Husayniyya were destroyed or closed, and the clergy were prohibited from spreading knowledge.
“In those days, women did not have the right to wear hijab and were deprived of their basic rights, namely adherence to the basic matters of their beliefs. I remember that they tried not to leave the house for fear of being discovered.”
