Hawzah News Agency- A memorial ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was held at the Khadijat al-Kubra School in Baluchistan, Pakistan, drawing a gathering of women from across the region.
Addressing the ceremony, Hojatoleslam Maqsood Ali Domki, a senior member of Pakistan's Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), hailed the martyred Leader as a towering champion of Islamic unity whose vision remains a guiding light for the Muslim Ummah.
"The martyred Leader was among the standard-bearers of unity among Muslims," Domki said. "Today, continuing this path and strengthening empathy and cooperation among Muslims is an essential necessity for confronting the challenges of the Islamic world."
A Life Dedicated to Islam and the Oppressed
Domki paid tribute to the late Leader's lifelong struggle in defense of Islam, the Holy Quran, the Islamic Ummah, and the oppressed peoples of the world.
"Martyr Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei spent his entire life defending Islam, the Quran, the Islamic Ummah, and the oppressed of the world," he stated. "In the face of tyranny and arrogance, he promoted the message of resistance, steadfastness, and relentless struggle. His thoughts and struggles constitute a precious asset for the Islamic world."
The Pakistani cleric emphasized that the martyred Leader's sacrifices and unwavering stance would serve as enduring lessons for future generations.
"His dedication and resistance will remain lessons of dignity, steadfastness, and jihad in the path of God for generations to come," Domki added.
Unity as the Path Forward
Highlighting the martyred Leader's views on Islamic unity, Domki said these teachings could chart a course for the entire Muslim world amid mounting challenges.
"His thoughts on the unity of the Ummah can be a roadmap for the Islamic world," he said. "Today, Muslims face numerous challenges, including the developments in Palestine and Gaza, the spread of sectarianism and religious hatred, and the conspiracies of arrogant powers against Islam and Muslims."
The senior religious figure urged Muslim nations to abandon discord and fragmentation in favor of insight, unity, and mutual cooperation.
"Under such circumstances, the Islamic Ummah must strengthen its insight, unity, and mutual cooperation instead of division and dispersion," Domki declared. "The time has come for Islamic countries to free themselves from dependence on America and unite with one another."
Rabi al-Awwal and the Week of Unity
Referring to the arrival of the blessed month of Rabi al-Awwal, Domki described it as a month of joy and commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Prophet of Mercy.
"The Prophet's way of life carries a message of mercy, morality, justice, love, and brotherhood for all humanity," he said. "He brought together a scattered society on the basis of faith and fraternity, forming a single Ummah. Therefore, commemorating the Prophet's birth must be accompanied by implementing his teachings and bringing these values into the social life of Muslims."
Domki stressed that the occasion of the Prophet's birth and the Week of Unity present a valuable opportunity for Muslims to transcend their differences and rally around their common ground.
"Shia and Sunni are both followers of the Holy Quran, the Holy Prophet, and a single Qibla," he noted. "Therefore, by strengthening mutual respect, tolerance, and brotherhood, we must foil the enemy's plots to sow division among Muslims."
A Legacy to Carry Forward
In his concluding remarks, Domki emphasized that the martyred Leader's followers must carry his message of Islamic unity into their homes and communities.
"The martyred Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was a standard-bearer of unity among Muslims, and his followers must transmit this message of Islamic unity to their homes and society," he said. "Strengthening unity, empathy, and cooperation among Muslims is an essential necessity for confronting the challenges of the Islamic world and realizing the aspirations of the Islamic Ummah."
The memorial gathering in Baluchistan reflects the deep reverence felt across Pakistan for the martyred Leader and underscores the growing call among Muslim communities for unity in the face of foreign interference, sectarian strife, and the ongoing plight of the Palestinian people.
