Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Seyyed Musa Mahmoudi made the remarks in an interview with a Hawzah News Agency correspondent in Sanandaj, noting that the Middle East has witnessed highly significant developments in recent weeks.
The principal of the Safiran-e Hedayat Seminary in Bijar stressed that one of the most important developments during this period has been another US failure in its plot against the Islamic Republic of Iran—namely, its unprecedented economic sanctions.
He continued: When the Americans realized they could not withstand Iran's armed forces and offensive power on the military battlefield, they saw intensified pressure on the Islamic Republic through economic siege and unprecedented sanctions as their best weapon, hoping that these sanctions would sooner or later affect our system.
Hojatoleslam Mahmoudi stated: The enemy was highly hopeful that these economic sanctions—unprecedented in their kind—would pave the way for internal problems in Iranian society. But the resilience of our fellow countrymen once again proved that this system will stand united and integrated against any foreign power.
The principal of the Safiran-e Hedayat Seminary in Bijar, referring to Iran's nuclear energy issue, said: The American view of nuclear energy in our country is purely political, and the most important proof of this claim is dragging the issue to the UN Security Council.
This seminary instructor noted: The Americans are trying to block Iran's nuclear development as well as Iran's power in the region, but everything they have done so far has ended in failure.
He further emphasized that the Axis of Resistance in the region will never be eliminated, saying: Today we see Yemeni fighters advancing toward their designated objectives, to the point that the Saudis, seeking a way out of this deadlock, have now turned to the United States for help—yet the US president is evading involvement, effectively abandoning the Saudis and their other allies.
The principal of the Safiran-e Hedayat Seminary in Bijar continued: This deceptive US policy toward Saudi Arabia has shown that America maintains friendship with a country only as long as it is stable and problem-free.
Hojatoleslam Mahmoudi concluded: This two-faced and hypocritical US policy has now become clear to all free nations of the world. Therefore, we must value our independence and authority and avoid any factor that weakens this independence and authority.
