Hawzah News Agency- Following the liberation of Palestine, the fate of Jewish residents in the occupied territories remains a subject of discussion. A review of the position of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, clarifies the Islamic Republic’s view.
Contrary to false claims spread by certain circles, Iran has never advocated throwing Jews or Zionists into the sea. Such remarks were once made by some Arab figures — Iran has never endorsed them.
As the Leader previously stated: “We do not throw anyone into the sea. The key is the will of the Palestinian people and the government formed by their votes. They will decide the fate of those living there.”
He added that Palestinians may choose to let Jewish residents stay, just as some liberated nations in Africa chose to keep former British colonizers on their soil after victory. Alternatively, they may decide otherwise. “The choice is theirs. We have no opinion on this matter,” the Leader affirmed.
