Malaysia’s Nasyirul Quran Prints 20,000 Quran Copies with Tamil Translation

Nasyirul Quran, the world’s second-largest Quran printing centre, today began printing 20,000 copies of the Quran with Tamil translation as part of the One Million Quran Waqf Solidarity project.

Hawzah News Agency- In a statement, Nasyirul Quran also announced that 20,000 waqf copies of the Quran are ready for distribution to Zanzibar, Tanzania, to support Islamic education and empower Muslim communities in the region, which are in urgent need of high-quality Quran prints.

“For post-disaster aid in Malaysia, Aceh, and Southern Thailand, a total of 10,000 waqf copies of the Quran have been allocated to replace copies damaged by natural disasters'', it added.

Meanwhile, Ahmad said this effort is not merely a printing activity but a da’wah responsibility that transcends geographical boundaries. “Through the One Million Quran initiative, we want to ensure that no Muslim is left without access to a Quran that they can understand.

“The printing of 20,000 copies of the Quran with Tamil translation is a strategic step to reach millions of Tamil speakers, while the Quran distribution to Zanzibar and flood-affected areas reflects the solidarity of Malaysian Muslims with fellow Muslims abroad'', he said.

The One Million Quran Waqf Solidarity project, inspired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, aims to disseminate copies of the Quran with translations in various languages worldwide.
