Hawzah News Agency- Hussein Al-Hajj Hassan, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, stressed that the resistance in Lebanon is still standing and continuing.
He added: Despite using five military divisions in the ground invasion due to the resistance youth's resistance, the Israeli regime was unable to stay still or advance except for a few meters, and the resistance youth stopped the enemy at the borders, which imposed a battle on it.
Al-Hajj Hassan noted: The Israeli regime's goal was to destroy and eliminate Hezbollah, but it failed to achieve this goal.
He stated: Hezbollah's claim of begging to stop the war is never true, and if Israel was able to continue the war, it would have continued, but it was the resistance that forced the enemy to stop the war.
Al-Hajj Hassan said: The Lebanese government and resistance have remained fully committed to the agreement (ceasefire), while the enemy, with the support of the US, continues to violate it and its aggressions.
He added: The US was the first party to violate the agreement by giving Israel an additional month to withdraw, while the regime has not withdrawn yet.
Al-Hajj Hassan said: The US is more than an ally for Israel, because it continues to interfere in the affairs of the Lebanese government and its institutions and even tries to influence the amendment of the electoral law.
In this context, he referred to the case of Iraq and said: The results of the recent elections were contrary to the predictions and expectations of the US, because the Iraqi people emphasized their complete adherence to the resistance groups and the Popular Mobilization Forces.
The Hezbollah member emphasized that the resistance in Lebanon remains steadfast and strong and continues to play its role.
